Hey there!

A smiling woman outdoors in athletic wear, wearing a green zip-up jacket and black shorts, standing on a sidewalk.
I’m Ally!

I believe endurance sport should add to your life, not take it over.

Before having my two kids, fitting triathlon into my life was not so complicated. I could get away with sloppier planning or racing back to back because I was young and had more flexibility in my schedule.

After having my second child, I knew I wanted to return to the sport with a vengeance. Doing that required redefining a few things: what strength looked like, what counted as a workout, and what success meant to me. It also meant becoming much more intentional about how training fit into the rest of my life.

That experience also made me reflect on how we approach training in triathlon. The sport can easily become a numbers game with time, power, splits, and mileage. Those tools are valuable, but over time it can start to feel like swim, bike, run on repeat while you lose sight of everything else.

LocusTri is multisport coaching for busy people, built on the belief that everything is connected and that smart training has to account for real life. I combine structured triathlon training with intelligent movement, mobility, and strength so athletes can stay healthy, build resilience, and keep showing up year after year.

The name LocusTri comes from the idea of a locus, a place where things come together. For me, that is where endurance, movement quality, recovery, and real life intersect. It is also no accident that the word locust is hidden within it. It is one of my favorite yoga poses.

Whether you are training for your first race or chasing new performance goals, my goal is to help you build a sustainable relationship with the sport so you can keep swimming, biking, running, and moving well for years to come.
